Build your days

Pick the pieces, we arrange the puzzle

Every custom package is assembled from the experiences below. Mix them freely across your days — we will tell you honestly which combinations work well together and which would be too much for one day.

Borobudur Temple, Yogyakarta

Temples & Heritage

Borobudur and Prambanan are the heart of most Yogyakarta trips — and they combine beautifully.

  • Borobudur Sunrise — can be paired the same day with Prambanan, a Merapi Jeep ride, or both
  • Borobudur regular hours — choose a courtyard (ground area) ticket or a temple-climb ticket
  • Prambanan — lovely at any hour, unforgettable at sunset

Good to know: a local guide at the temple is mandatory for Borobudur, and ticket types differ — we explain the options clearly before you book, so there are no surprises.

A jeep silhouetted at sunset on Mount Merapi

Merapi Jeep Adventure

Ride an open-top 4×4 across the lava fields of Mount Merapi, past villages and viewpoints shaped by the volcano's eruptions.

  • Short, Medium, or Long trips — most guests happily take the Short trip
  • Priced per Jeep, up to 4 adults per Jeep
  • Combines well with Borobudur Sunrise or Prambanan in one day
A beam of sunlight falling into Jomblang Cave, Gunung Kidul

Gunung Kidul: Caves & Coast

South of the city, Gunung Kidul hides vertical caves, river tubing, and a wild coastline. Choose any two in one day:

  • Jomblang + Timang — the famous "heavenly light" cave, then the gondola beach
  • Jomblang + Pindul — cave light first, then a gentle river tube float
  • Pindul + Timang — tubing and the coast, no cave descent

Good to know: maximum two places per day here, and Jomblang always goes first to catch the light. Book Jomblang at least 2 days ahead; it usually closes in the rainy season and needs good physical condition. Guide and safety gear are included at Jomblang and Pindul; Timang's gondola and bridge tickets are separate. Bring a change of clothes and socks. Hotel pickup is around 6:00–6:30am.

Malioboro Street in Yogyakarta at night

City & Food Tour

Eat your way through the city centre with a local guide — the way Yogyakarta introduces itself best.

  • Morning from 6:00am or evening from 5:00pm, 3–4 hours
  • Kraton (Sultan's Palace) — the royal palace at the heart of Yogyakarta, home of the Sultan
  • Taman Sari (Water Castle) — the Sultan's former royal garden and bathing complex, just a short walk from the Kraton
  • Pasar Beringharjo market and the bird market can also be part of the route
  • Guest favourite: Morning Food Tour + Prambanan at sunset
  • By car or by motorbike (you ride as passenger) — car is best when combined with a temple

Good to know: standard pricing is for a minimum of 2 guests; solo travellers are very welcome with a small price adjustment. A local guide is already included on this tour.

Workshops — Make It Yourself

Slow down for a hands-on session with local artisans. Each workshop takes about 2–3 hours, depending on difficulty, and you take your finished piece home.

  • Batik — a painting class, not making clothes: paint your own batik design on cloth with hot wax and dyes, and take the finished painting home
  • Silver — shape a small piece of jewellery
  • Wayang — craft a traditional shadow-puppet piece
  • Pottery — throw and shape clay by hand

Good to know: workshops slot easily into a temple or food day. Venues are in the Yogyakarta area and confirmed via WhatsApp.

Cycling through green rice fields in the Yogyakarta countryside

Cycling the Countryside

Pedal village roads past rice fields, small crafts workshops, and tofu and tempe makers. Routes run in the Borobudur area, the Prambanan area, or the Jogja countryside.

  • Usually 4–5 hours, with a flexible start time depending on the route
  • Bike, helmet, mineral water, and a snack included — regular bikes (no e-bikes)
  • Riders from age 10; a passenger seat is available for younger children

Good to know: cycling can share a day with another tour, but most guests prefer it standalone — legs are happily tired afterwards. Not recommended in the rainy season.

Starting points

Two ways guests often shape it

These are examples, not fixed packages — swap any day, add a rest morning, or stretch the trip. Your final plan is built from your dates, flight times, and energy.

The Classic 3 Days

First visit, the essentials covered well

  1. Day 1
    Borobudur Sunrise + Merapi Jeep

Sunrise over the stupas, then up the volcano slopes by jeep. A relaxed afternoon back in the city.

  2. Day 2
    Gunung Kidul: Jomblang + Pindul

Early start for the cave light, lunch included with the Jomblang ticket, then a lazy float through Pindul Cave.

  3. Day 3
Morning Food Tour + Prambanan Sunset

Markets, the Kraton, and Taman Sari with a local guide in the morning; Prambanan's towers glowing at golden hour.

The Slow 4 Days

More making, tasting, and countryside

  1. Day 1
    Borobudur Sunrise + Prambanan

Both great temples in one unhurried day, with lunch stops your driver recommends along the way.

  2. Day 2
    Cycling + Batik Workshop

A countryside ride through rice fields in the morning, then 2–3 hours painting batik on cloth to take home.

  3. Day 3
Merapi Jeep + Evening Food Tour

Volcano adventure by day; from 5:00pm, street food and Malioboro after dark with your guide.

  4. Day 4
    Gunung Kidul: Pindul + Timang

River tubing, then the hand-pulled gondola over the waves at Timang Beach.

Your package, your way

Transport Only or All-Inclusive?

Every custom package runs in one of two styles. Many guests start with Transport Only and add just the pieces they want handled for them.

Transport Only

For independent travellers who like booking their own tickets and hotels.

  • Private car with an English-speaking driver
  • Fuel and parking included
  • Pickup and drop-off at your hotel or Yogyakarta airport
  • Your driver points you to good local lunch spots along the way
  • Entrance tickets and hotels — you arrange these yourself

A local guide is a different role from your driver and can be added separately whenever a day needs one.

All-Inclusive

Tell us your budget and wish list — we assemble the whole trip.

  • Everything in Transport Only
  • Entrance tickets arranged, including the right Borobudur ticket type
  • Hotel options suggested to fit your budget
  • Local guides where they matter — and where they're mandatory, like Borobudur
  • Workshops, jeeps, and activities booked ahead for you

You choose which items go in. Nothing is bundled in that you didn't ask for.

How it works

From first message to first sunrise

1

Tell us your dates

Send your travel dates, group size, and the experiences you have in mind — the form below gathers it all.

2

Get a draft & quote

We reply, usually the same day, with a day-by-day draft and a price in your preferred currency.

3

Adjust & confirm

Swap days, add a workshop, slow a morning down. Your booking is official once you confirm in writing.

4

Pay the deposit

50% deposit for All-Inclusive, with the balance on arrival. Multi-day Transport Only asks a 40–50% deposit.

Booking & payment, in short

  • Prices are quoted per trip via WhatsApp, because they depend on your group size, dates, and chosen add-ons — tell us your preferred currency (IDR, USD, EUR, or another) and we quote in it.
  • All-Inclusive: 50% deposit, paid at the latest 7 days before arrival; the balance is paid on arrival / on the tour day.
  • Transport Only: payment on arrival or on the first day. Multi-day trips ask a 40–50% deposit; the rest is due on the last day. A one-day trip can simply be paid at the end of the tour.
  • Cancellation: Transport Only can be cancelled up to 3 days before. For All-Inclusive, if hotels and tickets are not booked yet your deposit is refunded 100%; if they are already booked, those costs are deducted.
  • Weather & closures: if a place is closed, we reschedule. In rain, trips with tickets already booked cannot be rescheduled; if nothing is booked yet, you are refunded 100%.
  • Questions any time: WhatsApp +62 851-8836-8726 or email [email protected].
